Corinda offers a taste of Spain without leaving the island
We will host a unique dining experience designed to quench your thirst for travel during this COVID lock down season.
Chef Chaxi Afonso Higuera will be hosting fortnightly multi-course dinners featuring different regional cuisines of Spain. She has partnered with American-Australian chef Ben Gilligan, whose travels through Spain over the years inspired his own cooking.
The first event ran on the 25th of September 2020 and showcased the cuisine of the Canary Islands, childhood home to Chef Afonso Higuera.
We’ve featured a different region of Spain fortnightly since then.
For the 27th of November we will explore Catalunya.
On the 4th of December we will head South to Andalucía.
After that we will pause for the silly season and change to one sitting at 6:30 on a weekly basis from February – the first three dates are now open on the 2021 calendar.
These intimate dinners will accommodate up to two seatings of 22 and allow visitors to enjoy the manicured gardens and cosy, elegant sitting rooms of Corinda’s main house. Guests will be offered a wine pairing along with dinner, featuring the award-winning wines of Glaetzer-Dixon.
We do have minimum numbers for a pop-up, and a maximum of course, so please make a booking using the form above to secure your place.
Why not make a night of it and book a room as well?
Cost $75 for 5 courses.
Plus optional $69 for matched wines. You can order individual drinks at the table if you prefer.
