Corinda offers a taste of Spain without leaving the island

We will host a unique dining experience designed to quench your thirst for travel during this COVID lock down season.

Chef Chaxi Afonso Higuera will be hosting fortnightly multi-course dinners featuring different regional cuisines of Spain. She has partnered with American-Australian chef Ben Gilligan, whose travels through Spain over the years inspired his own cooking.

The first event ran on the 25th of September 2020 and showcased the cuisine of the Canary Islands, childhood home to Chef Afonso Higuera.

On the 9th of October we featured cuisine from the Basque Country in the North of Spain.

On the 23rd of October we featured cuisine from the Canary Islands again – lots of people were disappointed to miss out on the cuisine from Chaxi’s native region.

On the 6th of November we will revisit the Basque Country again – this area is too good to only feature once!

On the 27th of November we will explore Catalunya and on the 4th of December we will head South to AndalucĂ­a. We have just opened up these last two dates and they are filling up fast!

These intimate dinners will accommodate up to two seatings of 22 and allow visitors to enjoy the manicured gardens and cosy, elegant sitting rooms of Corinda’s main house. Guests will be offered a wine pairing along with dinner, featuring the award-winning wines of Glaetzer-Dixon.

We do have minimum numbers for a pop-up, and a maximum of course, so please make a booking using the form above to secure your place.

Plus optional $69 for matched wines. You can order individual drinks at the table if you prefer.

Please contact us in advance if you have specific dietary requirements to make sure that we can accommodate them.

When making your reservation you will be required to enter your credit card details to guarantee your booking. Operating within COVID-19 restrictions requires us to have a 48 hour cancellation policy for bookings at Corinda.

Cancellations must be received by phone or email at least 48 hours before your confirmed booking time. Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a $50 pp fee.

Guests who do not arrive for their reservation or individual cancellations within your party will also be charged at $50 pp.

Please ensure all your dining partners are aware of our cancellation policy to avoid these charges.
